Default sway bar question

will a 2500 hd front bar fit on a 1500? just thinking about a cheap performance upgrade. is the only stock gm upgrade, to add a tahoe rear bar?

You don't want to upgrade a front bar alone. That will provide too much understeer while not reducing sway as much as a good rear bar could.

I've seen the Tahoe rear bar installed on a truck before and it fit like poo. If money is an issue, Hellwig bars are cheaper than Hotchkis cause they aren't as pretty, but they get the job done. And you can buy them seperately.

I bought a hellwig bar for the front of mine and the fit was so terrible I had to send it back. There was some big issue with the control arm links. You get what you pay for....
