Default Stock shocks 4/6 drop?

Can I use a stock shock on my 4/6 drop on the rear? I am wanting to just get something from the parts store so I can use this weekend. Thanks Thomas

you can but they wont be absorbing any shock. they will blow out and more than likely come out in 2 or more pieces when you go to replace them
