Default Still using a Steering box?

Do the NBS trucks still use a steering box. I was trying to talk a buddy into buying a quick ratio 12:1 box off me for his truck. But if its Rack and Pinion then it wont work to well now will it.

do you mean new body style like 99 and up because the 2wd are rack and pinion but the 4wds are steering gears.
