Default Steering Stabilizers - Feels Slopy

Anyone else's truck drive all over the place? When I break it always goes left or right. Feels like I have that 70s POWER steering. Truck wonders all over the road, even at cruising speeds. Can I tightin up the steering at all?

Dumb question, but have you had the alignment checked?
My truck used to get blown all over the road just by the wind, it ended up being my alignment out of whack. Funny thing is that it still drove straight as an arrow.

Assuming tire pressures are all OK, you might have a loose steering or suspension component? (ie: tie rod end, ball joint, wheel bearing, etc)

Worst case I had was in my last vehicle. A 4runner. Followed every groove in the road, wind blew it everywhere. Good alignment fixed it.

Glad to see I'm not the only one with this problem.

Check the lower ball joints. Mine are FUBAR'ed.

Some good points. If it is a high milegae vehicle look for worn components. Idler arm, ball joints, tie rod ends. If newer/lower mileage lean more toward alignment.

Any tricks or hints on what to look for or how to check all of the above?
