Squeky caltrac bushing in leafsprings
#2
I have their solid bushings in my car, and they don't squeek. However, they do rattle when stopped and idling. The ones I made on my truck don't squeek either, but that could be because I modified the stock rubber bushing. At any rate, you might want to put some lube on it. You might try the lube that polyurethane bushings require.
How do you have them set? How much pre-load, any? Is the cross bolt touching the spring at all?
