I'd do the testing on the suspension before the tubo goes in,less wear and tear,besides you definently want to launch straight with the tubo installed.Do 60' passes at first to get the launch right adjusting spring loadings and pinion angles,then do 330' runs to get the rebound settings on the shocks right to bring the front end back down.Then you can concentrate on tuning the motor with out running off the road.Flyer the panhard bar keeps the rearend from moving side to side.I assume that you hadn't installed your spring yet when those pictures were made.

I'm curious to why you removed the bottom brackets on the frame where the front mounts?

I Got rid of the Front bottom Brackets as i'm going make some up out of some thicker metal som angle iron i got from my metal shop i use
The stock stuff got a little mangled when i was removing the brackets
5 lbs sledge didn't help

Whitt I plan on doing it exactly as you suggested
try to get the launch going staight at first
I'm going to go an get a 4 wheel alignment done before i go testing anything

GMC SKI, what kinda of height variations are you looking @ with the adjustability, as far as top to bottom? And how much of a drop did it give you initially (altho im assuming that would depend upon where the coilover was set to) ?

With the setup now it equals somewhere near 4" drop in the rear same hieght as the Hotchkis Springs i had on it before
i will measure it up when i get a chance
Have to unload some stuff in the rear before i do also have no gas in the tank aswell
after the Dual pump install

I really like how you have a really long panhard bar in there. I look at some of these airbag setups with the foot long panhard bars and just shake my head. It looks like a really nice setup. Good work.

Oh yeah and for who asked, a panhard bar can be used on a leaf spring car or truck. I have one on my hudson.

I'm still not sure exactly how it works or what exactly it's for though. How would it help launch or handling?

Well, I have the KP 4 link with canti on my truck,went out for a lil ride a while ago, and broke the tires loose, and the axle bracket bent and rotated around so now my pinion angle is off somethign awful. I wonder if theres a warrenty on their parts?
