Default So Cal Tranny Shop

OK,
I have all my tranny parts, transgo/servo/etc. A member was going to help me out but I just dont know if I am going have time anytime soon. So as a backup, I would like to find a shop in the So. California, Orange County area that can do the install correctly.

Anybody have experience with shops around these parts?

Thanks.

If I remember correctly, someone said they wont install transgo. They mentioned they have their own kit. I am going to talk to my local mechanic, its the only mechanic that I trust so far..... we will see.

That is correct, they will only install their own kit, at a price of $300.

This really is a simple install...why not do it yourself?

unredeemed was going to lend a helping hand. I honestly just dont know when I am going to have them time, and I havent heard back for him in a awhile as I am sure he is just as busy.

To be honest, I know I could probably do the install. I have never touched a tranny before and I simply do not trust myself with it. But who knows I may break down and do it, I was just looking for a backup plan if I get truly impatient.
