At that mileage its time for a trans. I would not be pointing the finger at the tune at this point. Its kind of like a guy with the same mileage that installs a shift kit and the trans shortly fails. Did the SK kill the trans?

Yah you are basically stock. If you get a rebuilt trans, have a Trans-go HD shift kit installed, a billet or vette servo, also a nice oil cooler. Even having your stock unit returned to stock is going to cost you 500+ easy then 1xx for the shift kit, 1xx for the servo, 45+ for the oil cooler.

The tune is not the reason your trans took a **** dude. It was your foot that made it happen.

He can return it back to stock, but your not going to get a refund for it.

So what is your reasoning for 100% stock trucks having transmission failures? GM tune?

The truck I own had the trans go out at 115k. It was a 100% stock fleet truck.

Default How much would it cost to....

What would it ball park cost to have a trans guy rebuild this correctly im not rolling in doe over here . Or other wise would it be best to get the thing to stock only to have the same problems

while he is in there i dont see why a 'tech' cant add the hd servo is that unreasonable?
