Pull the pan. I'm guessing you'll see alot of black clutch material in the bottom.

If that's the case, he may deal with this some day...transmission taking a REAL CRAP. And no it had nothing to do with Charlie's Tune.

Could a misalignment of the PNP switch cause the tranny to kick out ans it momentairly senses a different signal? Now it kicks out in drive intermittantly.

There's no telling what it was.. that was in 2008. As of a month ago, I have a FLT Stage 5 with 70e output shaft and Circle D 3400 stall. All is good.

Now it slips out in the 1&2, 2&3 and sometimes 4. I spoke with my tranny builder on te phone and he still swears its electrical due to the sparatic nature of it. He says it's going into back up mode. The only codes I'm getting are p0161 and p0343. The p0343 is only once in a while and am looking into that. What sensors if no good has any affect on the tranny? Also what should I log to help narrow it down.

The only solenoid I would suspect would be a pressure control solenoid however I would think this would have been replaced during the build. I have seen issues with the plastic forward accumulator piston cracking or wearing which could be the case here. Or like what was said in an earlier post the pump could be an issue. I myself would get a gauge on the trans to see what the pressures do when then condition shows itself.

I would assume everything was replaced but that don't mean that new things don't fail. I have hptuners and if the comp sees pressures I can log them. Any idea what to log?

No the computer is not going to see actual line pressure. There is a test port on the drivers side of the trans just above the linkage shift. This is where you would monitor pressure with a gauge.
