Default Slight Surge when downshifting

Since I got the the new 4l65E I have noticed that the truck likes to surge slightly when downshifting and comming to a stop. Is this normal or can it fixed with tunning?

I would think it could be tuned out doesnt sound like that big a deal. I had surgign while the tc was locked up and it could be tuned out.

On a side note, I got that hidden hitch from Scream and I will be putting it on after I get back from texas for thanksgiving and will test it out and let oyu know if it holds up to ~7000#s
