Skyjacker lift going in...
#1
Seems this lift is tuff and well built, I would like to have any feedback from other Skyjacker mods on K1500's. I do have a Tech question if someone can answer...has anyone actually needed to weld these items?
Final Instructions:
After realignment, we recommend to tack weld (about 1") the Front and Rear Lower A-Arm Drop
Brackets, #C46-3 (Ill. #10) and #C46-6 (Ill. #12), to the lower cross member’s mounting points,
#C46-4 (Ill. #10) and #C46-7 (Ill. #12), to completely lock in place and hold their alignment. In certain
conditions, the alignment of these crossmembers has gotton off requiring another visit to an
alignment center. When these pieces are welded as recommended, this will not happen.

Well I didn't weld it due to the placements they are wanting to weld to the frame. The other reason is because if I weld it in place and need to replace it oneday, then it would have to be cut off. My lift Tech said he believes if I don't do any extreme offroading then It should be ok. Hope he's right. Getting back to the lift, it needs to come up to the 5" inch setting. We went back to the stock torsion bar setting, for ride...and this bit% rides like a Caddy. With the 4.5 in the back also, it needs a lil more in lift in the front.
