shock Extenders, im confused ASAP
#1
Have some questions for you guys. I just installed my doetsch tech shocks I picked up from another member, and was told that I need to mount it can down. Well, when my friend and I did it, he has the same on his trailblazer, can up. so we mounted the DT's can up with the silver shaft mounting down. I dont know if thats right or not, he said according to whoever thats how it goes. my question is this now with the shock extenders. ive read on this site and on others that if i get a set of shock extenders, i only need one of them. Is this true? I read and was told i need it on passenger side. Then I read on other site and here again I need one on driver. can someone clarify for me wtf do i need and how does it go? I pm'd norcalss and tim for a set, but if i get 2, do i just install both. I had 2 different p/n's on my shocks when I installed them anyways, and put longer one on passenger side. Any insight?

So, after much reading and insight, looks like the djm kit comes with one extender that goes on passenger side. and i may have the shocks mounted wrong. so when i install the shock extender, ill be switching the shocks around.

got it all taken care of. driver side shock is 4163g, passenger side is 4241g and added the djm shock extender to passenger side, got it can down like its supposed to be, couldnt me happier with the ride quality.
