This is just my $.02..
Many guys at the track, and trans shops that I have talked to had said to steer clear of Royal Purple, for a couple of reasons.
1. They questioned the reliability of the trans with that type of fluid.
2. If you blow a line, and your stranded, now you will have to try and find some.
According to the folks I talked to...you can't mix other ATF's with this.
Im not a fluids guy, but I would seriously check it out. Sheer points, viscosity at high temps..etc etc. all the black magic that goes into ATF development is MADE for your tranny clutches, etc.
I've always been told to stick with GM or Exxon ATF.
I have not had good luck with Valvoline ATF, my trannys seem to slip more with it in, then they did with the old fluid. You might have the same experience with the Royal Purple stuff.
