Default Replacing control arms instead of ball joints

The lower ball joints are going(70Kmiles) on my 99 Silverado. For the price I was quoted for parts and labor I figure I can buy a new set of tubular upper and lower control arms with ball joints and install them myself. I plan on keeping this truck for a long time so I don't mind spending a few dollars on the upgrade. Can anyone recommend a quality brand of control arms and a sponsor that sells them?

I've got DJM upper and lowers, they are pretty nice pieces.

If you are at stock height, I am not aware of any tubular uppers or lowers. Like said above, DJM makes them, lowers in a 2", 4", or 5" drop, and uppers to go with the 4" or 5" lowers.

DJM doesn't make a lower control arm for a stock truck

Why not just change the lower ball joint yourself?

i agree it's not that hard all you need is a hammer, chisel and a punch beyond any tools required for swapping the arms

i just did this a few weeks ago wasent bad at all, when you take out the stock rivets tho mage sure that you remove the rivet head with teh waffle pattern on it. the other side has a lip and you cant drive it out that way.
