When I got my truck, the control arms rested on the bump stops all the time from the factory, and I didn't notice much of a problem. I ended up going up instead of down, and haven't noticed much of a difference in ride. Were yours not like that?

im not sure because when i got my truck, i didn't know anything about these trucks. i payed to have my torsion bars jacked up so the truck was level.

Looks good. I'm so glad i dont live in Michigan, a nice truck like yours with all that rust just kills me, i couldnt stand it.
i hear ya. and i dont even drive it in the winter.
