Default Removing overload springs?

I have a flip kit and cal tracs. Will removing the springs have any effect on ride height, or ride comfort or discomfort?

Right, I understand that it would lower it on a stock truck, but my axle is above the leaf spring. It should not lower it, I think? And it might make the ride a little better.
