Who has done them? I put a set on an S10 3-4 years ago and it was a bitch. I was poking around today laying stuff out and it looks like it's gonna suck. Any tips/advice/shortcuts would be great.

i just did mine on a crew cab, took me about 4 hours, had to drop my gas tank and receiver hitch. you probably want to put the springs in the front hangers first(im thinking that would have made things easier)

make sure you get the truck high enough that when you drop the rear axle it completely clears the springs when they sag. I made that mistake when lifting a truck once, was able to get the stock ones out, but the lifted ones were too big to fit
And like stated above, put front bolts in loosely, and then get the rears with the shackles in.
You can also disconnect the driveshaft so that you aren't fighting the axle trying to pull forward when reattaching it to the springs.

I usually cut the bolt on the gas tank side and put the new bolt in the other way around that way you dont drop the tank. Also I just put the truck on stands and the rear diff on a jack that way you have some adjustment, I would not take the shaft out its a waste of time just put a jackstand under the pinion. 2 people can do it in under 2 hours easy.
