#1
my dad has a 00 2500 with a 8 lug rear axle with 4.10s in it. any problems if i were to swap my rear end which is a 6 bolt 8.6 with 3.42s. thoughts? input? is his rear end better? sf ff? i want 4.10s or 3.73s now that i have my 80e

just get 4.10s then... one thing i will say though are you referring to the 4wd in your sig?
if so you will need the same gears for up front to be able to use your 4wd... dont want to make you seem like a idiot but wasnt sure if you know that or not

If its a 2500 its a 14sf, if its a 2500 hd its an ff.
Other than being 8 lug so you'll have to put 8 lug wheels in back its better than the one you have. IMO
Its also gunna be disc brake, yours is drum, might not put enough press to the brakes, some people complain of losing some braking when swapping the rears like what you want to do.

ah i c about the pressure. and yes i knew about the front too. thanks tho.
i did have another question tho. in my tune, my tire size is wrong. after about 30 mph, my speedo seems to be correct. does a wheel speed sensor kick in there or what's goin on?
