hey guys im lookin for a posi rear end for my truck. ive heard that a camaro rear end will work in it, 98 s10 2wd specs in sig just wondering if thats true cause posi would be nice at this point its hard to drift with a rear end that doesnt hook all the time

I believe you are correct that the v6 S trucks all have the same 7.5" rear that the F-bodies came with. I would go over to LS1tech and browse around to see what the consesus is on good posi units over there.
Our choices with the 8.5" on the full size trucks are different, as are our needs with the greater weight to push around. I would think the F-body stuff would be more applicable for you.
Good luck.

Just be sure you have the 7.625 rear..some '98+ 4.3/5 speed S-10s and 2 dr. Blazers came w/ the 8.5" rear. If it is the 7.625, then any locker/LS for an F-body will work on yours. Check out S-10Forum.com for more info.
