im looking at putting 4.11 gears in..question is do i have a 14 bolt 10.5 rear end or a 9.5 inch.. i have a 2006 1500hd..

 

That's gonna be a 9.5"..........

 

who makes the gears you are running and are they as quite?

 

I'm running a Yukon gear from Randy's Ring & Pinion. It's quite but most gears are if they are set up right. These rears are easy to set up, they use an adjuster on one side and you shim the opposite side.

The pattern needs to look like this........
