Default Rear end question

alright how much horsepower can a g80 Take. i've been thinking about putting the 3.90 gears in the g80 or should i just put in an eaton rear end w/the 3.90??

Im not sure how much It can handle but if I was you I might as well go with the eaton with 3:90's. There's like a million post on how the G80 just blew up!!! Moregrip was the latest victim!

Isn't Parish still running the G80 with all that power???

the g80 is not good for much. get you a detriot true trac unit with 3.90 and you will not be disapointed

390s or 410s would both be a good improvment, and definatly the eaton. PM me for details on where to get a sweet deal on it.

I work at a dealer ship and we see g80s blown up all the time go with aubran,eaton,are one of the after market carriers they all work in their own way.
