Default Rear caliper shaving?

Just wondering if anyone has ever had to shave their rear calipers to get 15" rims to fit on the back. I have a set of 15" rims and some slicks. I dont really want to have to buy a whole new set of rims and tires. I know that the cameros have to do it to the fronts. If so just wondering if anyone has any tips or knowledge on the subject?

i had the same problem and i just said, screw it, i'll sell the 15's and find some 16's and than sell the slicks for the 15's and buy some new ones for the 16's and than i was alright... but i was able to sell what i originally had.. if you happen to find someone that wants it than youll be fine. I'm sure there are guys who have done it before.

I guess you could always switch to drum brakes too... lol jk.

I just finished it. You have to grind alot in order for them to fit. A member here on the board also modified the caliper bracket inorder to bring it closer to the rotor for clearence. Maybe he will chime in.

I did it for the Wood Hauler using Joshluther's pics as a guide. We did not even use aftermarket wheels on his, just older style rally rims (15x8) and the bolt pattern of course was 6x5.5. Just be patient and take your time.

I've done it. You have to take alot off. But I like being able to run 15s.
