Is there a trick to to makin it easy to get the springs out on a 06 RCSB with no spring compressor?????

Just undo the lower ball joint with a jack under the lower a-arm and slowly lower it. Should remove almost all tension, if not get the jack handle and push the arm down until the spring pops out lol.

When I did the springs on my 04 RCSB I think I did as described above, and put a chain through the spring (to keep it from flying out and killing me) and had to pry some.

It seems to me most the tension was off and it didn't fly out, but I would still do the chain thing, it is cheap insurance.


...unless I am confusing that project with other spring swaps I've done...
