Default quick advise

Was cruising home today at about 65 and the tc locked, unlocked, and then locked again. I got to where I could stop and plugged in my lap top to adjust the TCC. After a bit I got going down the road again and it seemed to be better. Got closer to home and it did it again.
Remembered to check the temps this time and damn. I was sitting at 200.

Fluid is 1/2-3/4" over the mark so I need to drain it. Ordering a cooler in a couple minutes.
Think the TC is ready to **** itself already or could it just be the fluid being over full?
I'm hoping its the fluid but this is where I need advise.
Plan on draining it and making a test run and adjusting the TCC some more to reduce heat. But if the tc is taking a dump I'll have to wait until BlueCajun gets back.

your fluid level being a little over is probably not the problem. 200* temps isn't too bad, but yes, definatly get a cooler on there. i'm running a Hayden 30k gvw and it gets the job done. the lock up clutch is about to take a dump for good. i've been through 2 tci's (1 regular and 1 billet). both went out after 5k miles. however some people do have sucess with them, i guess it's hit or miss.

Yeah, it's not because the fluid is a little high...could be a missfire or other issue.

Fixing to go test drive it and see if it's messing up or if its just problems with the tune. It had like 800 miles on it when I got it and I've put 500. I can't be pushing more then 320-330rwhp.
Ordered a 40000gvw tru-cool last night.

what do you recommend on the TCC settings. I'm still trying to decide what should be what. Don't worry about my ve table, After putting in the converter it didn't seem right so I'm in the process of redoing it and haven't been able to do anything other than my cruise speeds.

Made some adjustments to the TCC to let it unlock sooner and with a touch more throttle and it's doing fine so far. Trans temps have been pretty steady, only hit 204 with heavy throttle and a few launches. Just waiting on the new cooler and for BlueCajun to get the Circle D sent out.

Thanks for chiming in. I was weary of those temps.

the fluid being high could be a sign of the pump going south, no?

if the fluid is drastically (2"-3") over the fill mark then yes it is quite possible

Pumps fine. this is a refreshed transmission that I just put in on Sunday. My Nephews baby's daddy just put too much fluid in it. I cant get under the hood to do anything.
My main concern was that TCI freaking out and costing me another transmission.

I'll post my changes in a bit and i'll take a look at the min max pwm
