Default Quetion on backspacing (HELP)

Ok guys I am going to order a 4-6 or 5-7 drop for my truck. The problem is I dunno if the centerline 20's i have will rub the inner lip when i do this.It will be close. Can some of you with low drops tell me what back spacing you are running to clear. I am going to trim the back lip of the fender. So any advice is helpful thanks guys.

most of the centerlines are close..... you gotta run a small tire with them. 5.5" is premium. you can go 5 like the centerlines and be close, and 6" tucks real deep ( depending on the width of the tire ) i have 9.5" rims with 5.75" of backspace on my 3/5 with 27" tires, and they're not even close. but i have short tires.

I have a djm 4/6 and I am running the centerline stingray IIIs. I have 275/35/20s on the 20x8 rims. I have seen someone go with a 255/45/20 and it fit without rubbing. I have also seen 4/7 and 4/8 drops with the same rims on a 245/40/20 tire and I think all they did was roll the rear fenders. What size tire do you want to run?
