Default QA1, Belltech...whats best?

Well...I did a basic DJM rr spring swap to bring the rr down 2" and level the truck out. Looks much better, and handles wayyyy better - but the drivers side is almost 1" lower than the other 3 corners...wondering if my shock is cooked (stock Bilsteins). If I'm gonna change it will be to a fully adj part (rebound & compression). I've read a few posts recommending the Belltech Street Performers, but dont know much about them.
If anyone can provide some insight I'd appreciate it! In particluar why my driver rear sits lower (cud it be the fuel tank wght?)...

Having run both the Street Performance and QA1 shocks I can offer my opinon...

For track use there is no beating the QA1s but for a more comfortable controlled ride I really like my Belltechs, and the price is by far more affordable. If you want adjustable you have fewer choices.

did you check to see if you have one spring rolled out of the cup a little... have no idea how your pockets are, but I've seen trucks have that problem with coils in the front.

Also you can tweak the opposite t-bar to kind of split the difference and get the AV to sit a little better. I've had to tweak every t-bar suspended vehicle I have ever owned and was always able to get them pretty close.

Do a search for "chevy lean" and you'll find that the driver's side sits lower on all of our trucks, and it becomes more evident when the truck is lowered. I believe that there was a TSB in reference to this actually.

TSB, really? WE need a TSB on 4L60E's. I'm far less bothered by a 1/2" or whatever than tranny.

Oh ya, I'll take my QA1s over my Street Performance shocks.

Checked the springs this am...no rolled cups...adjusted my dual exhaust away from the end links on the sways (links seem a little long now), panhard def looks to be an issue limiting travel...I never considered cranking the torsion bar to bring the rr in line, but makes sense! I'll prob upgrade the shocks after some research...plan was to go adjustable, but frankly it might be overkill for terrorizing townfolk...either way it corners huge better, and once I get the brakes on (Baer) I'll be on a tear!
