Default Pulling a tranny, any suggestions?

I am going to be pulling the tranny on my 87 gmc 1500, are there any problems that i might run into?

Not unless you're anticipating any. 4-bolts on each side of frame for crossmember removal. Mount nut removal. Depending on trans type (TH-series or 700R4/4L60), you'll have bottom bellhousing cover bolts, converter bolts, bellhousing bolts, speedo cable, wire on pass side of trans, vac line (if equipped), dipstick removal, and drop it.

i just didnt know if i would need to remove the rear engine mount and lower the entire assembly to get to the upper bolts or just get a f*cking long extension for the top bolts.

You may want to invest in a 1/2" drive swivel & 12" extension to help with ratchet and socket.
