last i heard people were still looking for something like this and i am sure the guys that need it know about it but just in case here it is.
it says tahoe but if it works for newer tahoes i am prety sure it would work for any new 4wd/awd. maybe not.....
this lets you use the stock tcase and do a 4l80e swap. perfect for the ss guys i would think. this page is huge go about 1/8th the way down and look for it. http://www.4l60-e.com/

"Attention Tahoe owners with 4WD and Superchargers!
4L60E to 4L80E Conversion
#10A. Swap your 4L60E transmission to the much stronger 4L80E transmission with our new double strength case hardened output shaft and adapter kit. You can use the computer you have now on 1998 up models with the use of our #10X wiring harness. The transfer case you have now can be used as is and will be moved 1 3/4 inches to the rear. Cost $459.00 "

I might email them and see if it'll fit the NGV 149 transfercase. That place is in Louisiana and sometimes it's kinda hard to understand what they're saying on the phone.

The AWD vehicles evidently also have an extra signal going to the computer that non AWD vehicles don't so just getting a 4L80E PCM file from a 4wd won't work. It might be a extra VSS signal, not completely sure.
