Trailblazer.. stalls at about 2500 or so untill the wheels get to spinnin... in the little 4.8 tho. I dont tow.. but i hear this is a good one if you plan to tow. Yank is a good brand as well, just more expensive.

Yank 3000 felt really loose na, now that the turbo is on it feels almost stock. Great for daily driving and great for the amount of towing that I do.

tb stall behind 6.0 liter. i should have gone bigger like the 3000 as many above have. I also tow a boat but don't think it would be a problem with a bigger stall either.

Tci 3000
TCI makes bullet proof stuff its not the tightest converter and will limit your towing but its cheap in comparison, at least thier converters are cheap.

I can get about 2600 rpms in 4wd brake stall before the brakes are overpowered

The Z71:

Started with a TT3000.. Turbocharge and only minor offroading (year right), no towing. Now I run a Precision Industries 3000 3disk, Multi-Plate 4L80E TC..

The Grey Truck is using the same converter but with a 3200stall 5disk Multi-plate 4L80E TC. No towing but will definately be hauling a lot of ***!!!

TCI SF 3000. Loved it, only enjoyed it for about a month. Tranny went BOOM

TCI 3000 not suppose to tow with it but I tow a ford bronco on a low boy trailer with all the necessary offroad tools and a 4wheeler in the bed(6200#s). I race it ALOT I have a problem keeping tires on the back. It is great for daily driving and it keeps my truck in the range where my exhaust sounds good.

TT3000, about 25k on it. DD some racing, and a bit of offroading. A bit loose for wheeling on the loose, deep sand on our beaches. The engine and tranny heat up pretty quick
