i have a 05 truck (listed below) and my trans is out and i plan on buying a flt level4 but i have lost my job a month or so ago and my trans crapped out on me in feb but i have a 4l60e out of a 97 truck that was recently rebuilt and was going to see if i could use it in my truck until i get a new job and some money saved for a new trans....anything will help thanks i was mainly worried about being able to use my stall but i do have the verter that goes to that trans also thanks bryce

so will it work if i use the regular converter thats in it with the truck?

 

How bad is the '05 trans? What's wrong with it?

 

not sure it had been slipping for a while just felt dogish then started making noise and juming around whatn you gave it gas then nothing and it will not roll back in any gear but you can push it forward
