So if I'm running -AN, the 5/8-18 would just be a -10. Unless I'm overlookin something.
5/8-18 inverted flare, so you cannot just use a -10AN

Russell and Earl's both make a -6AN to 5/8-18 inverted flare. Not hard to find at all.

I already had plans to put mine in just Atomic is doing; just some aluminum strips from the nearest home store.

^^Make sure you take care of that kink in the hose^^

So, I'm in the process of buying a Trucool 40K from HoveyBayou and it has the thermal bypass.....I live in southern texas lol. Can this kit be used without it or....if its built in will it hurt? Or is it just something that is there and wont hurt but its there if I need it....

If you're in southern TX, cold weather will probably just be a nice paperweight. It's not really needed there, as it's a cold weather bypass. No, it's shouldn't hurt anything even if it's thrown on; I'm sure my southern PT brothers would agree, but I'd just leave it off down there. Heck, I was even told to leave it off here, & we see 0* often & once in a great while a -5* or -10*. Seldom, but it happens. And no, it's not built in.

See post #38, it looks the 2nd item. It's the blue item. Read what they say for info.

Or look here.

I installed my 34" rad today and bypassed the radiator. I bought a 3/8" mip to 3/8" barb fitting from home depot, and 2 clamps. Total cost was $4.

little teflon paste and threadlocker and it works great. I used the hardware supplied with the kit for everything else.

when I was test fitting the barb on the hose I slid it on and couldnt for the life of me pull it back off, so i ended up having to cut the hose to get it off. im 260 and benched 400 the other day for whats it worth, so im certain with the addition of those clamps, that **** isnt going anywhere
