buy a set of new springs or lowering springs. flip back your leaf spring (wtf?)

unflip that rear spring and install a set of hangers, that should get you a four inch drop with the shackles in the rear. in the front i would pick up a set of 2" lowering springs and add a set of belltech street and performance shocks all the way around.

Heating the springs is old school. Take the advice given so far.

Flip the last leaf spring(would this be the overload spring)? Heating the springs= destroyed springs. You are probably riding on the bump stocks or really close to it. If you have them flip the spring and order 2"drop springs or spindles, your ride quality will go back to stock. And like BLK WDO says "cheap work isn't good and good work isn't cheap" My .02

Why would you buy new springs and cut them? Do you mean buy factory springs and cut them? Why not buy drop springs specific to your vehicle and let them settle in? Drop shocks are pretty much a must when you change a vehicle's ride height.
