Default Please help!

Hi folks. I have a 1990 Chevy 1/2 ton 4x4 with a 5.7 liter and the 5 speed manual transmission. The transmission is bad. I use this pickup for cutting firewood and going to the dump mostly. Here's my dilemma. A used 5 speed is around $750-$1000. I'm not wanting to put that kind of money into the old girl. I found a 4 speed manual out of the same year pickup with 93K miles in a junkyard for $250. Will the 4 speed bolt right up, or will I have to change a bunch of stuff? Any help is greatly appreciated!
