Default Help, how to measure pinion angle to order proper shims

My truck right now has a 6" rear drop with no shims but it has a terrible vibration, I am pretty sure it needs shims. Does anyone know which degree of shims I need? Also I plan to drop the back 2 more inches in the back

You should measure the angle's and see what the difference is.

You've got to measure all the driveline angles and see what's going on first.

Also, which brand flip kit are you using? The Belltech one I have has the proper angle for the rear end built into the kit. JDM's is adjustable but I've read it's very poor quality.

As mentioned, you MUST measure to know what shims you need.

It's a mcgaughys flip kit with 1pc drive line. So measure the trans, drive line, and pinion angle with a magnetic angle finder?
