Default Pics of 2'' Drop/Belltech shackles

Wanted to do a mild drop on my truck, Bought some belltech 2-3'' drop shackles, and lowered the front Tbar bolts. Still have rear blocks as of now.

Truck sits / looks better IMO, im happy, it rides great too with stock shocks, but some belltech shocks are in the future, along with getting my side windows tinted, not done yet but getting there.

Also took off the rear hitch to help ease installation, and left it off for weight reduction, and the Dmax tows everything anyway.

Wanted to post because there seems to be lots of shackle/drop threads lately.

WHY would you do that? Don't you know dropping a 4x4 is a mortal sin. Lol. Just kidding. Looks really good. Get some drop shocks and get rid of that block.

LOL, yeah this is the first of many 4x4 trucks ive even THOUGHT about lowering . So 2'' is extreme for me haha. My Dmax has a 6'' lift and 35's.

I was thinking of taking out the rear block but i want a raked look, not sure if taking the block out will still keep it raked or level, which i dont want.

Thanks for the comp

Any advice is appreciated as im a newbie to lowering stuff.

Maybe lowering keys and rear block removal or leave as is??

You could go with the keys. I would rather do a 2" spindle drop in the front. It will have the closest to factory ride with those. And if you haven't already, get it realigned ASAP. Every time you change the geometry of the suspension it needs an alignment.
I would also lose the z71 decals.

Yeah def gonna get her aligned, need new tires anyway, back ones are bald imagine that? LOL.

I was thinking of losing the stickers, only reason i didnt was i like the red/silver and it breaks up the black a lil. Prob gonna get rid of em.

The truck really rides good now , i think it would ride the same or better with lowering keys due to able to have some tension on the bars with lowering keys vs. stock keys and bolts backed all the way out. Understand??? Anyone with lowering keys please chime in.

Ive been around the block with keys that lift trucks, never had experience going the other way.

Pics dont do it justice, im very happy with it in person.

yea, I have lift keys in mine and it rides rough as h#ll. I'll be putting it back to stock height here shortly. Well, maybe alittle lower than stock.

Thanks John , appreciate that.

I just peeled of the stickers, yes, it looks better!

This truck is not a show truck by any means, i bought it with a 183,000 on it,
it had dented chrome bumpers, moldings and was bone stock. But was very clean and solid for its age. I think she looks and performs wayyy better than last year when i bought it LOL.

Take the block off the back and you'll still be raked a little.

I'd take the stickers off and get some of the small red/black and chrome pillar emblems off a Z71 Tahoe or Suburban and put them in place of your LS or LT badge on the cab

Looks good, I'd say get some purple keys (2500) and remove the blocks from the rear. Either way it looks great!
