Yessir, the ATF could Aerate and not only cause unstable line pressure, but it will lose it's ability to act as a lubricant and may overheat as well

I'm wondering if this slower acceleration that i'm feeling is being caused by unstable line pressure which means the clutches are slipping. Lets hope there is no perminate dammage

You can get some out by getting a "spritzer" fitting off the top of a bottle of Windex or something, put a piece of flexible tubing on the bottom, put it down your fill tube, and suck some out that way. Spray it into a bucket or something. Less messy than draining it.
