Default opinions wanted: TCI billet pump 4l60e

recently blew up my 3rd 4l60E. this time the pump rotor shattered and ruined both case halves. i was going to buy an oem pump and rebuild the trans. but the pump itself, through work, is about 600$. so i am now wondering about TCI's pump for around 400$. has anyone had any experience with it?

part number is 373305

i attached a pic of the old pump for your entertainment.

thanks.

I have a feeling that it's a reconditioned Pump with a Billet Rotor. You can buy the billet rotor separate for around 1/2 the price.

If I am not mistaken the PWM feature needs the 13 vane Rotor to function properly.

You can buy a used or reconditioned pump for less than $100

Hell if you shop around you can buy a core, parts Transmission for cheap as well.

It's really important to make sure you get the same type of Pump that came out of the trans you are working on.

Also inspect the case and other hard parts for damage.
