Default Opinions or experience?

So ive been looking into buying 35's and a 3" body lift for my truck, but35's are so expensive! I hate to pay $1300 for them, so lately ive been looking at Treadwrights Guard Dog M/T'. there $600 for a set brand new tread. but the tires are retreaded tires....what do y'all think of them? ive read reviews and watched videos of how there made and everything ive seen is positive, but they are Retreads...so let me know what yall think, id rather pay $600 for tires than payin $1300 and if theyd both last bout the same time im definitely goin with them

I don't think you will ever get a set of retreads hot enough to throw the tread like 18 wheelers do...go for it.

The only issue is keeping good air pressure. My coworkers father owns a retread business. He says issues only come up when customers allow the tires to have low pressure for too long.

They will last about 20% shorter than what you are accustomed to. I would say you will benefit from retreads if you are driving that much. I will say with the cost of fuel and tires I would get something more economical. I saved almost $400 a month in fuel myself this year adding a 40mpg Jetta for myself and a 26mpg small suv for my wife vs my 15mpg truck.

Im only 17 but I don't want another vehicle I love my truck! I wouldn't be driving anything else, but I just am skeptic about throwing the tread off and ruining the body on my truck....I don't know how good they are but if they'll last a year or 2 ill get em! but if they arnt very good, come apart or blow then I aint gonna even consider ill just save for a long while til I can get some new 35's
