So if done this way, is the speed sensor pigtail the only thing you really need outside of some extra wiring?

My trans swap starts this Friday, so I want to make sure I have a very clear understanding before I tackle it.

I didn't even need extra wiring, there was enough existing wiring I just pulled it out of the loom.

I'm trying to figure what is new? It can be done whatever way. Just have to pin (wire correctly) keep the consistencies with the sechamtics. Letters as colors will be swapped around

I didnt add any wire, I used pre existing wires in the harness that were no longer used with the 80E. This saves from running two wires randomly from Trans to PCM or from tearing apart the harness from the trans to PCM to add wires and run them correctly. By doing this the harness stays unmolested and there is no random wires running outside the harness.

I was about to ask what the benefit of this method is but this post sums it up.

so the tan/blk wire (T) wasn't used before? just trying to understand how did you come up with two wires not being used when you only pull 2 (white & brown) and you re-used the brown one that only leaves 1...

You are using S and T for the speed sensor. This is assuming you used the primary method with wires S and U in the first post.

So (T) is no longer needed in the main harness?
