Careful with what aftermarket set of axles you go with. They're not all just "better" than stock axles. Our rear ends are REALLY wide compared to ones most aftermarket axle companies deal with. So they'll probably just pull from an already heat treated and annealed blank, then cut the splines in. You want a manufacturer that will cut the splines, then anneal. Cutting the splines in after is ok if it's a +31 spline setup that has a bigger dia. to begin with. I couldn't believe how small the cross section of our axles were compared to a 12-bolt 30 spline, or a 31 spline 9" axles.

Did you determine that was the issue? It could be a bent or out of balance driveshaft. Hell, it could even be a tire/wheel. Did you check all those before messing with axles?

Called them,For the nnbs they wanted 264 an axle, dont know what the difference is between 99-07 classic than 07+nnbs.

Checked all of that. Not the tire/wheels this is my 3rd set with same feeling.Had 2 mechanics diagnose the bent axles.Moser hooked me up with 285 for both+shipping.

Good deal, but make sure the new axles slide in and out real easy. I was, and still am kind of convinced my housing is bent a little. A few hits with the t-brake is all it takes I guess. Anyway, if the axles don't slide in and out of the carrier real easy, then you may have a bent housing. It's not the most scientific test, but it's the best you can do short of taking it apart and putting it on a jig.

Synthetic 75w-90 for the G80, conventional 80w-90 for the TruTrac, no friction modifier necessary. Not sure what the Eaton LS calls for...
