Default Is it OK

I blew the G80 last night. I cleaned out the housing, and got all the parts out. I know I can limp around in 4hi with just the front pulling, but besides the PITA torque steer, is there any harm in driving normal like this for a few days/couple of weeks till I can get a new carrier?

I dont think there is, just want to make sure before I continue to comute to work till a new one gets here.

I drove mine with-out the g-80 guts for about three weeks. All I did was clean out the housing, shove the cross pin back in the carrier (to hold the axle clips), and filled her up with oil. I did replace ALL the bearings when I got the new carrier though.
