I am using all the parts from turbo08 and he said he did not have the problem of the clutch releasing this low or not engaging when started. I had this professionally installed and the only issue we saw is the clutch pedal sits 1.5 lower than the break pedal. My friend made the plate to mount the pedlawith just like the one listed in this thread. This is why I am so baffled with the pedal releasing and engaging so low.

Can't say Fords are good for nothing. I just picked up a 03 cobra 6 speed shift **** for my swap! Has leatherrr and the aluminum plate at the top. I don't know if it will screw on o not but I will make it work.

I did the drill mod and let me say it IS worth it! I used an f-body line and had it exteneded. I just couldn't find a truck line anywhere and like the others stated, braided seemed more appealing. The dealer won't sell the truck line w/o buying the master and a lot of junk yards cut the line when they sell the master. With the drill mod and a new slave my truck pick up over 2mph in the quarter, mainly because I was able to shift above 4000rpm. 
The braided line (from an f-body AFAIK) is what I drilled. The fitting where it meets the master cylinder has a restrictor orifice in it. You can't see it w/o a light, but its there. You can feel it if you wiggle a drill bit in there. If it's not there then it's probably already been drilled. It's not actually in the line itself, but where the fitting meets the line.
04GIBBS, you might need to shim your clutch man. I know it's the same as TURBO8's but the difference could just be in tollerance stackup with your engine. How old is the slave cylinder and master? I know right before my slave went out the clutch was engaging all over the place.
From what I've gathered on tech, the Cobra **** will go right on with no issues. The C6 ZO6 one should too and it's pretty appealing.

when we did my buddys car. the ram clutch came with a shim for the slave. and in the instructions along with on tech you need to drill the part that is on the braided line. you drill about 1/2" then you hit another way another 1/2" in. so when your finally dont its a total of one inch of drill bit going in the line
