i just put in a new tranny need to know why my truck wont start,
do i just need to adjust the NSS?
is it a matter of just loosening the bolts and move it till it works?

Are you sure you re-hooked the ground straps to the bellhousing bolts at the top of the trans? They have to be between the bolt head and the bellhousing.
You could adjust the sensor, but i've never had some come out of adjustment... just always put it back at the same angle as the old bolt "shadows" on the NSS mount showed and never had a problem.

yes just loosen the bolts and adjust the NSS as needed. I have never seen a ground on bellhousing bolts... They are always on the heads or the block just above the bellhousing bolts.

does your shifter feel right???? like run it through gears and make sure it can go into everyone... if it does then try and adjust the PNSS... also did you unplug the PNSS or just take it off trans.. unplugging it can be a pain.... and you could have pulled a wire out of a pin or something
