Default NOOB! 2/4 Towing/Pics!

Hi yall im new here and heard about this site from GMFullsize.com and kinda like this site a bit better.

but to my question, can i still haul and launch my boat with a 2/4 on a GMC sierra rcsb? im goin to run helper bags, but i just want to make sure because i do alot of fishing and hauling the boat to diffrent lakes.

also could i get pics of lowered trucks hauling stuff...and pics of lowered gmcs, tell me the drop you have and the tire size.!
thanks,
(if this is in the wrong section please move it.)

I haul things all the time with my 6/10 drop. Hitch is going on soon once I raise my spare tire crossmembers. With a 2/4 and helper bags it sounds like you have the perfect combo planned out. Run 2" drop spindles and 4" hanger/drop shackle combo.

You didnt mention how much your boat/trailer combo weighs. I have two boats I haul with a 2" spindle 4" shackle hanger set up. One boat weighs about 2500 pounds combined with no issues the second weighs about 4500lbs and would sometimes bottom out because you only have about 3 to 4" of travel in the back with out a c notch. I put on a set of mcgaughys air bags in the back and now I can tow about anything.
