Default Noise from back of truck

I changed the title in hopes of more attention. But, here's the story...

After I put on a quieter muffler, I started hearing noises. At first, I thought it was just my tires needing to be rotated. It sounded like a 4X4 with mud tires that never been rotated. Well, I put a differrent set of tires and rims on my truck and the noise is still there. Could it be my G80 going out or maybe the brakes making that noise?

if its a roaring noise it sounds like it may be your gears or a pinion bearing

that's what i'm hoping. it has 47,000 miles on it so its probably time for new ones. but it sounds like its in the rear but maybe not. maybe just passenger side. after the shutdown ends, sometime in october, i'll get new ones and hope it fixes it. your sig pic looks nice but the truck looks weird. how you do that? mine sucks!!

Thats the sound an italian car with a flat tire makes not a chevy pickup.

Sounds like it could seriously be a tire though try rotating them and see if the sound moves or goes away.

i'll try that next time it is running. i thought i heard something the other day when i turned right so i pulled back off the road and kept turning right doing loops on and off the service road but couldn't make the noise again.
