Keep hearing about issues with the one piece Driveshaft on the GMT 900 trucks at high speeds. How are you guys dealing with this, or what driveshaft companies are you going with. Getting a blackbear tune, 3200 converter and do not want it snapping on me. Thanks!

I had a local company make me a steel 2 piece. Fabbed up a cross member for the hanger bearing to sit on. Haven't had even the slightest issue. Peace of mind is worth a lot, especially when it comes to drive shafts.

 

or breaking down at speeds in excess of 100mph. lol

 

Just have the driveshaft specialist make a new shaft for you.

 

Got a built 1 piece made for a friends 08 excab. It sees 125mph no issues
