Default NNBS 6l80e 4wd/awd converter install

What's up guys. I recently got a circle d 3200 converter for my 2013 escalade. It's the awd model. I've been trying to find a lift to get onto for a day to do the install but I haven't had any luck. I'll have to do the install in my garage. When you drop the transmission do you leave the transfer case on? Will I need 2 jacks to hold it up level if the t case stays on? Has anyone here dropped and installed a 6l80e transmission out of a 4x4/awd truck without a lift?
