Default NNBS 4wd questions.

Hello, new and not sure if this is the correct place. I was just curious if anyone might have information on the possibility of swapping all of the AWD components from a Denali/escalade into a rcsb 4x4 1500. I know it’s possible and has been done countless times with the nbs trucks but I can’t find anything at all toward nnbs trucks. Thank you in advance. Also this would be under the assumption of having a full salvage/etc. awd donor.

What is your reasoning behind this swap?
You can just put it in 4hi or auto 4 right now.

I'd leave the case you got in it guys launch hard in 4wd on that same stock case all day and you have the selectability of leavin it 2wd. The new cases like your truck has are tough SOBS

The thought behind it is I already have the rcsb, nnbs-era escalade/denali donors could be found dirt cheap. Swap what ever you can, sell both engines and one transmission plus what ever else you could and put it toward an lsx-454. I have enough mechanical ability if it possible but wiring might be the downfall. Just do t feel like buying a donor if there is no point. Not so much about hard launches like the other comment but more of just something cool that gm could have possibly done themselves but didn’t for myself to personally enjoy. Awd like the mid 2000s ss’s and syclones/typhoons, but 454 like the early 90s trucks. In theory it seems like it should all work.
