they all suck. get a drag radial. until you drive on a drag radial you'll never realize just how bad a "summer sport" tire sucks.

The 305s go up in smoke pretty easily for me. First ride with slicks on a prep'd track was a whole new experience.

Hard to tell the difference from this pic but....275 left. 305 on the right.

The 420s will be my next tire. My brother in law raves about the 420s tires on his ram srt10.

I just checked and I think I would rub on both sides with the 305's at full lock, I think I'll stick with the 275's.

What kind of life are you guys seeing out of the 420s? The 75k mile warranty on the 421 is appealing, I highly doubt I would get that with the way I drive

I haven't put many miles on my 420s, but I am surprised how well the rears have held up to abuse. (H rated)

Looks like the treadwear will vary depending on which version(speed rating) of each tire you get.

UTQG wear ratings:

420S
H 460
V & W 420
Y 280

421Q
W 560
H & V 640

"UTQG Treadwear Grades are based on actual road use in which the test tire is run in a vehicle convoy along with standardized Course Monitoring Tires. The vehicle repeatedly runs a prescribed 400-mile test loop in West Texas for a total of 7,200 miles. The vehicle can have its alignment set, air pressure checked and tires rotated every 800 miles. The test tire's and the Monitoring Tire's wear are measured during and at the conclusion of the test. The tire manufacturers then assign a Treadwear Grade based on the observed wear rates. The Course Monitoring Tire is assigned a grade and the test tire receives a grade indicating its relative treadwear. A grade of 100 would indicate that the tire tread would last as long as the test tire, 200 would indicate the tread would last twice as long, 300 would indicate three times as long, etc."

LMAO...you cant have a high performing tire and a 75,000 mile rating...are you wanting to hook, or get 80,000 miles on a tire. choose one. i want to hook, so i change tires every 8k or so (with track visits)
