Hi all. I saw the name of this forum on a decal on the back window of a Chevy pick-up in Spring Hill, FL. That truck had the coolest exhaust I've ever seen or heard. It had rectangular tips and were set in slots cut in the trim under the bumper. The truck was black. If the owner sees this post please contact me at 352-263-9897 to tell me about it.
I also need a new set of shocks for my 98 GMC 1500 Silverado. I have no idea what shocks to buy. I know I don't want to just walk into Auto Zone and ask for a set of shocks. Probably end up with junk. Anyone have some advice for me? I don't go off road at all. I just want some quality road shocks.
Thanks,
Guzzidad

I think it was a regular cab. I also noticed as he took a left turn the truck didn't lean much.

Yes, that RST looks like it might be it. You have more info on that? I'm new to buying performance parts for cars and trucks. For the last 35 years my attention has been focused on motorcycles. I never cared much about what 4 wheeler I drove, until I got this truck.
I'm also still waiting for some good advice on shocks.
Thanks
Guzzidad

Where ya from? Glad to see those decals drew you in! Well, the exhaust is what really did it I guess. LOL Welcome to pt.net! Someone will chime in with some shock ideas.

I live about 35 miles north of Tampa. I searched old posts and found plenty of shock info. Ordered a set of Bilsteins last night. Thanks
